Had her do my taxes in 2022. She tells me the price after it’s done not before ($2,000+) and berates me that I don’t have it the day she sends an invoice. I pay her & Years later I find out she’s done nothing for me and I’m 5 years behind on taxes still. Stay far from this lady.

I do not leave negative reviews lightly, but I feel obligated to share my experience. I hired MCP and Associates for tax estimate services, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Communication was minimal and often failed to address the questions I asked. I sent multiple follow-ups seeking basic clarification and did not receive substantive responses. More concerning, the tax estimates provided were calculated using incorrect numbers. I requested revised estimates using the correct information, but I never received an updated response. After continued lack of communication, I informed them politely that I no longer wished to proceed and requested a refund. I've followed up multiple times with no response to my request. In the end, I invested a meaningful amount of money and received no usable information, no corrected estimates, and no resolution. Professional services should include accurate work and responsive communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I hope this helps others make an informed decision.

Our accountant of 19 years announced early January she would be retiring after a 40+ year career with her husband. This gave us time to seek a new accountant through friends and work colleagues. I found MCP & Associates was close to home so made contact with Brenda who leads her team. I explained our situation and need of a change. She helped us get setup quickly with their tools and once we had everything to her in early February her team did our taxes quicker than our prior experience over 19 years. Since we filed early, we did have an issue occur submitting electronically. Brenda kept us informed, let us know she had some other clients with the same issue, and we called the IRS ourselves to help her out. Once the IRS shared they get updates to their tools without knowledge at times, they recommended to mail it in which Brenda promptly did. Throughout the whole cycle of changing accountants, an IRS submission issue electronically, and just getting it done, Brenda and her team are easy to work with and look forward to working with her more and her team in the future.
