Our accountant of 19 years announced early January she would be retiring after a 40+ year career with her husband. This gave us time to seek a new accountant through friends and work colleagues. I found MCP & Associates was close to home so made contact with Brenda who leads her team. I explained our situation and need of a change. She helped us get setup quickly with their tools and once we had everything to her in early February her team did our taxes quicker than our prior experience over 19 years. Since we filed early, we did have an issue occur submitting electronically. Brenda kept us informed, let us know she had some other clients with the same issue, and we called the IRS ourselves to help her out. Once the IRS shared they get updates to their tools without knowledge at times, they recommended to mail it in which Brenda promptly did. Throughout the whole cycle of changing accountants, an IRS submission issue electronically, and just getting it done, Brenda and her team are easy to work with and look forward to working with her more and her team in the future.
